We organized Bangon Pilipinas because we believe in the Filipino nation. Bangon Pilipinas means that the whole nation, and not only a few, must arise together in righteousness to transform the land.
Righteousness exalts a nation; therefore the whole nation must carry the burden of righteousness.
The government we will establish will therefore be a government not only for the people, it will be a government OF the people; indeed, it will be a government not only of the people, it must be a government BY THE PEOPLE.
Bangon Pilipinas, our name, symbolizes THE WHOLE NATION MOVING FORWARD TO ESTABLISH RIGHTEOUSNESS IN THE LAND.
At the same time, we believe that the nation cannot move forward in righteousness unless it is led by a righteous president, and righteous government officials, themselves transformed by their belief in God and their love of country.
Bangon Pilipinas will serve as the catalyst for the national movement for transformation. Upon assumption of office by our officials, government will serve as the machinery to mobilize the whole nation to establish righteousness in the land.
At the core of the movement for national transformation are all forces who bear, regardless of individual creed or religion, a passionate burden for the nation.
The core of this movement will reach out to all elements of society until the nation is one, and whole.
As such, every aspect of our program will carry aspects of this movement.
